My name is Jana Sláva Růžičková.
I love working with people who are motivated to work on themselves and go deep within to explore their soul.
The inner world can sometimes be like a stormy sea, while at other times it can be calm and peaceful.
That’s why I love the sea. It is enough to look at it and let your mind wander.
Besides the sea, I enjoy and find it fulfilling to work with children, most of all with the little ones. However, I would not like to offend or discourage my clients who are no longer small. I believe that they too have their little selves hidden inside. They are also welcomed to join me.
I will be happy to share my experience and skills with you and your children.
What can I help you with:
I offer individual psychotherapy, mainly for children. I also offer family counselling, individual therapy for adolescents and adults, accompanying in difficult life situations – e.g. family/relationship difficulties, somatic illnesses and occasionally offer diagnostics.

I’m a clinical psychologist. I have experience in diagnostics and therapy, and I have successfully completed training in Rogerian psychotherapy. In my approach, I draw in my practice not only from the field of psychology and therapy, but also from the Montessori approach to education. I refer to my approach with a touch of humor as Rosarian (“Růžičkori”).
I have worked in Czech Republic and Canada with children from 14 months of age. As this target group often does not yet use words to express what they feel, I work with them non-verbally using a sandbox and I am also learning the clay field method.

As my time and yours is precious, please let me know 24 hours in advance in case you cannot come to our session. Late cancellations or absence from an arranged session will incur a full charge.
Payment for the session is made in cash at the end or we can arrange payment by bank transfer.

My book
“Girl Under the Surface”
Sara and Matthias are two of the several main characters whose stories are told in this book. They become brave warriors who face life head-on despite the circumstances. They try to get up and face another day, often with all that is left of their strength and regardless of the blows of fate and internal conflicts. Sometimes they have friends and loved ones close to them who support them, at other times they feel lonely. The stories of the main characters, based on real encounters, are deeply human and personal. They can touch each of us in different ways. Above all, the aim of the book is to bring psychotherapy to the public and to provide an orientation to what a psychologist/therapist can offer.
